GOD AND SOUL

The soul is the essence of God, and the relationship between God & Soul is one of Love. Some compare it to the love between Father and Son, and call Him "the Divine Father". Guru Nanak Sahib Ji and other's compare it to the love that exists between the lover and beloved. The one thing common to all these relationships is the bond of love between Soul and God; though,
owing to the evil of maya, or illusion, and our attachment to the pleasures of the senses, we have forgotten what our relationship with God is.
Seeing our plight and moved by our sufferings, Saints come to this mortal world on a mission of mercy, to show the way out and to help those who accept their lead. They reawaken the bond of love between the Soul and it's Creator, and pave the way for the happy "reunion".
